Citizen politics, unlike party politics, does not seek to change government, but to improve it by watchfulness, oversight and advice

Toronto Ward Boundaries Review – online survey for comments open until Sept 23

The Toronto Ward Boundaries Review (http://www.drawthelines.ca) will soon go before City Council for final approval. If you are interested in the recommended ward boundary changes proposed for Ward 20, go the Draw the Lines website for details and maps.

There’s also an online survey here for submitting your comments on the three options – note that the online survey is only open until Friday, September 23.

For reference, HSRO attended the TWBR Public Consultation on Sept 14 in support of Option 1 (47 Wards) as the most appropriate (with a north-south orientation) respecting historical and ongoing developments for neighbourhoods surrounding the University of Toronto, a position also supported by the Annex Residents Association, the Harbord Village Residents Association and the Grange Residents Association.
