One of our neighbourhood’s most respected residents, Roxy Finch, passed away of complications from a broken hip on Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Almost 100 years of age when she died, Roxy had lived in Huron-Sussex for well over 50 years. For much of that time, she was the Chief Librarian at Trinity College, University of Toronto. Roxy, an example to us all, lived independently until her accident. We will miss he sharp wit, her warmth and her walks around the neighbourhood.
Roxy’s funeral will take place on Wednesday, April 19, 12:30 PM at St Jude’s Anglican Church, 160 William St, Oakville.
